My name is Lesley and I live in York. I am a busy mother of 5 grown up children and have a young grandson and a grand-daughter who is due any day! I am so addicted to sewing that recently when my machine broke down, I felt like I'd lost a limb. Luckily, it was quickly repaired!
I love crafting, particularly sewing, quilting, embroidery, knitting and card making. I particulary enjoy making children's items and things for the nursery. One of my specialities is quilted fabric storage baskets and bags for the nursery which have a front pocket that can be personalised. I also love to make patchwork cot quilts, bumpers and baby blankets.
I don't like to leave the grown-ups out so I also make quilted and patchwork bags and handbags as well as a range of household soft furnishings including table runners, placemats and cushions and quilted storage baskets for other rooms in the house such as nautically themed for bathrooms.
All my items are made with care to my own designs and would make wonderful gifts for that someone in your life who deserves something special and unique!
