FLOWER- APPROXIMATE SIZE- 3.5 cm ( 1 1/4 inch) across and 3.5 cm ( 1 1/4 inch) down. Washable. Supplied in an elegant black presentation box, with a black velvet insert. This will look lovely on a lapel of a jacket, scarf, dress and even on a hat.
Poppies are brightly coloured flowers found in the wild or in cottage gardens. They flower early summer & grow to a height of about 18-24 inches. There are many different varieties of Poppy, but the most popular are the Corn Poppy, Field Poppy and the Flanders Poppy. They have been used through History as a symbol of sleep, peace and death. They have become the symbol of Soldiers who have died during War Time and worn on Remembrance Day, to commemorate them.
This Brooch could be worn as a Commemorative, Remembrance Flower Pin or as a Easter Bunny Pin.
INSPIRATION My inspiration for making this Brooch was to try and capture the delicate features of the flower, While being durable to everyday wear and tear. I love intricate detail and as with all my Designs I wanted to create a "one off " piece of Artwork. This unique piece of Artwork can be worn by Men & Women, to mark any occasion or celebration.
