This hardwood bowl is turned from one solid piece of fine grained hardwood and polished with a natural wax to give a realy nice sheen, the blue inlaid band, offsets the plain lines of this piece.
External diameter at top 110mm overall height 50mm bowl depth 30mm. The natural wax finish makes it suitable for food use, although it should only be wiped clean after use, not immersed in water or a dish washer.
Made from a recycled piece of timber sourced locally in Essex, it is more than 15 years old although I am unsure as to its species
